Zhonghua Gate is a defensive complex on the city wall of Nanjing, China. It is a renowned ancient city gate in China with the most complex structure in the world. The light show with 3D projection mapping is for the 2019 Qinhuai Lantern Festival to celebrate the Chinese lunar new year.

To fully leverage the historical meaning of the preserved Ming City Wall, a replica of the original gate tower, which was destroyed in the past, has been designed and restored to participate the show. After the show time, the installation can be folded down to minimize the impact on the visual pleasure during daytime.
